Shoes!

Eli in another pair of shoes! He's like a kid in a candy store with the shoe bucket! :) Definitely my son!
Eli picking tomatoes.
Look at the carrots from our garden! Yea! Zoey and Eli love checking for what has grown!
Eli loves playing catch with Vincent!
Eli is serious about mowing!
So sweet! Zoey woke up one morning and brought her baby to the couch to cuddle! She is growing up again... she starts preschool next week, she's started to say her "l"s - "Eli", "lellow" (yellow), and most of her summer clothes are too small!
Eli especially loves to wear these shoes because they make fun noises!

Eli's hair is straight now that the humidity is gone. :( I actually want it to be humid again so I can see those curls!

Did this really just happen to me again?!?!?!

Well, Zoey just locked me "out" again! I went into the back room to grab something, she wanted to come but it's messy and I knew I'd only be 5 seconds... so I shut the door... and then Zoey locked it. Yes, that's right. I'm locked in the back room while Eli's sleeping and Zoey and Ava are playing in the family room. I keep telling Zoey to unlock the door. She keeps telling me she's trying and it's hard. Then she says to Ava, "Ava, unlock the door. Mommy needs out." Ava tries too. Then they both leave the door and start playing. I keep knocking and Ava just laughs and laughs. And Zoey's playing. Then I hear Zoey say to Ava "Do you want to watch a movie Ava?" "Sure!" Ava replies. At this point I'm trying to open the little window in the back room which is extremely difficult because we never open it. I FINALLY get it open and just punch the screen out (all during this time I'm praying that Chris would get here any minute and help me). I stick my head out the window and call Zoey (that window and the window in the family room are right next to each other). She says "Where are you Mom?" She comes to the window and just stares at me. Ava comes to the window and laughs and laughs. Zoey says "Can we watch a movie, Mom?" To which I reply "When I get out of here, it's naptime!" I climb out the window (thank goodness the trash can and recycling bin are there to help me) while Zoey keeps asking me what I'm doing. Thankfully the screen door was unlocked and I can get back inside my house! Wow! What an adventure and another great laugh for everyone!!!
