(Another) New Addition to the family!

We finally got a puppy! We've wanted one for years, but never felt it was the right time. Now it is!!! She is SO sweet and loving and follows us around!

This is the first night, Bo just walked right up to her! Not so much, any more... he's keeping his distance! Charlie hissed at her a few times, but is warming up.

Her name is Allie (middle name is Bama - get it? :) )!!! She is 9 weeks old.

Matt and I both realized that since we didn't have a baby this year, we needed to fill that void (even though we didn't want to have another baby - it just seems weird that we didn't) so we got a kitten and a puppy this summer! Funny!

And, of course, Eli had to check her cage out!

We went to the zoo yesterday and it was HOT! We still had fun!

So... Eli locked me, Zoey, Bo, and Charlie out of the house yesterday! We were outside for 15 minutes! Eli was on the other side of the window smiling and talking and saying no when I would ask him to unlock the door. He tried, but with 2 locks he kept mixing them up.

Oh, and this picture is after a smoothie! Eli loves them!

We went to an event today called Touch-A-Truck. They had planes, helicopter, city work trucks, an army hummer, MTD bus, and lots more. It was fun!

Happy 4th of July!

Although we were exhausted, we went to the fireworks Friday night and the parade Saturday morning. We had to wake Zoey up to go to the parade and she was excited to go get suckers, but also asked if she could go back to sleep when we got back home. Sweet girl. We're all so tired!

We went on "bu-cation" as Zoey called it the whole time!

Here we are setting out... driving through the night. Yes, we made it. Yes, it was awful. Zoey and Eli didn't sleep much. But we got there and had lots of fun! Zoey informed us today that in just a few more weeks we're going on bu-cation again! Wouldn't that be nice?!?!

Finally knocked out after being up all kinds of crazy hours in the middle of the night!!!
