Hardy's Reindeer Ranch

We went to Hardy's Reindeer Ranch today! It was fun! We did the Reindeer Experience Tour!

I love this picture! Matt is really thinking of some great shots to take of Zoey - he really enjoys the new camera and taking pictures of her!

Did you know that reindeer are great swimmers?! We sure didn't!

Also, reindeer actually click when the walk (like the song - "up on the rooftop click click click")! They have tendons that click against their bones when they walk!

Zoey has been busy getting ready for Christmas!

Whoa... I'm dizzy!

We spun (SLOWY!) Zoey in the desk chair. She seemed to like it... she was smiling, but when we stopped her eyes and head would sort of shake and she'd fall to the side trying to get her balance back! 

Tree decorating

Zoey's first time decorating the tree. She helped Matt put on her first ornament! Every once in a while she'll look at the tree and just stare with her mouth open! It's cute!

Zoey had avocado this weekend.... I don't think she is too fond of it yet! We were laughing so hard (We know, it's a little mean)! :)

New developments!

Zoey is getting more and more mobile every day! She scoots around while sitting using her legs and bottom, she's rolling more, and is really starting to push up on her hands and knees, stay there for several seconds and try to move her legs! She is also talking to us nonstop! It is so cute and funny!

Chris and Nick had their baby December 5! Ava Lee, 7lbs 12oz! I can't wait until she's older and her and Zoey can play together!

Laughter!

Zoey laughed yesterday! It was the most beautiful, joyous sound I have ever heard! She has changed SO MUCH in the past week or so. It is amazing! She loves to stand by holding onto our fingers and then pulling herself up. She will sit down and stand up and then sit down again just to stand back up! She loves it! We're also experiencing separation anxiety! It is heartbreaking! We know it's just a phase though! She loves sweet potatos!

I love this picture! Zoey was having a great time in the grass. She kept trying to grab it and bring it to her mouth but it kept staying on the ground! :)

Yuck!

Zoey had green beans last week and she did not enjoy them! She actually gagged! It was so hilarious! 

Tacos...on Thanksgiving...What?!

We're excited about having tacos at my dad's house... Zoey seems a little unsure though!!!

It snowed!!!

Zoey's first snow!!! I think we were more excited than she was! 

I'm eating vegetables!

Zoey ate vegetables for the first time Saturday! We gave her peas. She shudders every time she swallows!!! 

Half a year already?!?!

Zoey is 6 months old!!! We can't even believe it! Her appointment went well today... 18 lbs. 13 oz.! She also did NOT cry when she got her 3 shots! It was unbelieveable! I asked her, "Zoey, do you feel that?!" She just smiled at me! The doctor was impressed with all she can do (standing, sitting, etc.). We're still waiting for that laugh though...

Zoey was a little unsure of what was going on while she was in the basket with her toys!

She has her 6 month check-up tomorrow afternoon! I'm anxious to find out how much she weighs!

Matt has been having fun lately putting scarves on Zoey. It is pretty cute! 

Super funny!

Zoey has started to put the rubber duck in her mouth, take her hands away, and continue to play or look at us. It is one of the funniest things ever! We laugh and laugh every night!
