Zoey loved her birthday cupcake and ice cream! The ice cream really intrigued her because of the cold.

It's not the best picture because it's with a cell phone, but it's still super cute! We got a balloon at the farmer's market yesterday and Zoey wanted to hold it while she toddled up the sidewalk!

Sledding in May!

I bought this sled with a handle to pull it last week at a garage sale and before we put it away we pulled Zoey around in the grass. She really had fun! She's watching Matt mowing the lawn here.

Zoey said her first word yesterday!!! Duck!!!
We have a book called "Ducks in Muck" and the first page just says "ducks". When I opened the book and read the first page, she started saying "du, du, du, ck, ck", so I repeated duck a few times and then she said "duck"!!! She's done it several more times since! It's too cute! It's super weird also because Matt's first word was duck! Yikes!

Zoey took her first steps tonight!!! She was holding on to a big rubbermaid container, let go and was just standing there. Then she took 2 steps towards Matt! She's been taking some steps while holding onto something or at least touching something, but we think these steps were officially her first steps because there was nothing around her! Of course we got the video camera out and recreated the situation! Yeah!

New look!

Zoey's hair is getting so long! She was sweaty on that really warm day last week, so I played with her hair!

Zoey has so much fun pulling all the clothes out of her drawer and tossing them behind her! She has the biggest smile on her face when she does it!
